Francisco Domenech, Puerto Rico’s Shining Star

Domenech attended college at the University of Puerto Rico, Rio Piedras Campus, obtaining a B.A. in political science. He also gained a Juris Doctor from the university. During the 99-00 school year, Domenech was the President of the Student Body Council. He also served as an Academic Senator during his time at the university. Domenech also went to the University College London, studying comparative law.

From 2007 until 2012, Domenech served as a member of the DNC, working as a represenitive of the Young Democrats of America. In 2008, he served as a delegate.

One of Domenech’s most recent accomplishments was helping Jenniffer Gonzalez become the first woman to represent Puerto Rico in Congress. He served as her Campaign Manager in 2016.

Domenech also received recognition in 2016 from readers of Caribbean Business. PhilipeSchoene, the Executive Editor of Caribbean Business, revealed that Domenech received more votes than any one else for their 40 under 40 list. A total of 59 people were nominated for the list. 19 of those didn’t make the cut.

Francisco Domenech is also a philanthropist, supporting a variety of noble causes alongside Politank. Anthony Petrello Life in Business and Philanthropy

Having worked for several companies in different positions, today, Anthony Petrello serves as the chief executive officer of Nabors Industries. He got elected to the board of directors in 1991. In the same year, he became the president and chief operating officer until 2011. Petrello became the deputy chairman of the company in 2003. In 2011, he became the president and CEO of the organization. One year later, Anthony became the chairman of the executive committee of the board. Part of his responsibilities in the institution is to provide strategic planning initiatives. The actions serve to help the company adapt to the varying market needs. Additionally, it’s his work to steer the company to profits and ensure its competitiveness in the market environment.

Nabors is among the world’s largest land-based oil drilling contractors. It’s headed by Petrello whose pedigree is perhaps a bit unusual. He graduated from Yale University with a bachelor’s and master’s degree in mathematics. Additionally, he holds a degree in Law from Harvard University. Before Nabors, Petrello worked with Backer and McKenzie as a managing partner.

Anthony Petrello is married to Cynthia, a former New York actress. In 1997, the couple got blessed with a baby girl at Houston Women’s Hospital. The child weighed 20 ounces. Anthony experienced periventricular leukomalacia, a disorder caused by lack of oxygen to the brain. First, several operations got carried out to save her heart and eyesight. Then, it became evident that Carena would have cerebral palsy. Today, she gets around in a wheelchair and cannot speak or feed herself. With the hope of curing their daughter, they sought medical attention from the best doctors, however, there wasn’t much to be done.

Later, due to less research carried out on children, and lack of resources he donated $ seven million to Texas Children Hospital aimed at exploring neurological afflictions for children.
